BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Clive Announces Economic Plan | Business

This week, the City of Clive agreed upon a new Economic Development Action Plan outlining the strategies and policies to encourage growth in the area.

In a press release, the Council listed 5 of the key strategies as:

• Encourage existing business retention and expansion
• Assemble critical development information
• Develop partnerships and key relationships
• Provide financial assistance and development options
• Develop and implement an external marketing program for targeted sectors

The Council hopes to widen and increase Clive’s industrial tax base while providing high quality jobs.
